Meet Jennifer

Spavins Legal opened in 2015. Jennifer offers comprehensive estate planning services including Medicare planning. Jennifer provides representation during the probate process including the sale of real estate. Jennifer provides representation during all phases of litigation including research, document drafting, trial preparation, and at trial. Defying the stereotype about attorneys and numbers, Jennifer provides user-friendly financial analytics to be presented in legal proceedings.

Jennifer provides pro bono public service as a volunteer for the M. Ellen Carpenter Financial Literacy Program, which teaches high school students how to make informed and effective decisions regarding their finances. Jennifer also provides volunteer tax preparation assistance for low-income individuals.

Prior to opening her own practice, Jennifer practiced at a small litigation firm on the south shore of Massachusetts, where she focused on estate planning and probating estates, divorce, family law, criminal defense and personal injury.

Jennifer studied music and business as an undergraduate at Northeastern University. She enjoys Dunkin Donuts pumpkin coffee, walking near water, and solving other people's problems.
